The Chapters have taught school children and Brownie troops and donated to the Toys for Tots. Each month the chapters teach each other the various crafts of stenciling, faux finishing and other decorative arts as well as learn about new products. Each member who can attend a convention shares that knowledge with other members who could not. The chapters hold monthly meetings, extra workshop, take trips to observe other decorative artists' work and in general network for a deeper knowledge of the arts. Most chapters also have lending libraries containing tapes and books for the use of their members. |
